SEASONAL SERVICES

The seasons change, and so does your landscape. Quench irrigation offers various seasonal services to keep your system working flawlessly throughout the year.

Our seasonal services are as follows.

Spring opening service — This is best done between April and May, just before the hot summer months when the system will be needed most. The service includes:

 Charging system with water
 Turning on and programming the controller
 Changing the backup battery
 Running all zones & adjusting heads as needed for optimal coverage
 Checking the rain sensor for correct operation & changing the battery if necessary
 Cleaning debris from each rotor/spray heads, and flushing the drip irrigation
 Checking to make sure changes haven’t been made to the landscape

Summer maintenance service — This service is done between June and September. During these warm months, your landscape will require the most attention from the irrigation system. Our goal here is to be certain the system keeps operating at its fullest capacity while avoiding any waste.

The summer maintenance service includes:

 Running zones to check for coverage gaps/overages
 Checking the rain sensor for correct operation
 Programming the controller according to the local weather and season

Winterize blowout service — The
winterize blowout is done in October or November. It is a vital step
in the system’s maintenance to avoid cold weather damage. The winterize blowout service includes:

 Turning off the water source
 Shutting down the controller
 Blowing out all zones and purging the system of water using compressed air

These services are important for all irrigation systems to run as efficiently as possible.

Seasonal service contract — For clients who choose to pre-pay for all three seasonal services, we
offer a 10% discount on the total contract price. In addition, the same discount will be applied to any
additional service calls and materials used. It is our way of saying thank you for taking care of your
landscape.
